Simmacbot is actually a boundary of Paracelis in Mountain Province and Brgy. Simimbaan in Roxas, Isabela.
It is known by locals here with its scenic mountain view, and if you are lucky enough, you can see an early morning mass or a “sea of clouds” atop towering mountains.
An indigeneous view deck has been constructed here for a plain view of mountains, river and a valley below.
Getting there at Simmacbot from the highway LTO Roxas, Isabela via Brgy. Simimbaan is a bumpy-hilly-muddy ride. Also expect a checkpoint along the way to ensure health protocols are maintained, especially at this critical tine of GCQ.
It isn’t a perfect road trip for backpackers, bikers and curious nature trippers, but reaching at the view deck watching the sea of clouds with a breath of fresh air is already a consolation and stress reliever to appreciate the beauty of nature and marvel the greatness of our Creator – which we all need to realize and experience at this time of the pandemic.
