Appreciating Shakespeare’s literary works

With glasses on, I can now read smaller fonts in the book like William Shakespeare’s THE MERCHANT OF VENICE.

Admittedly, I really hate William Shakespeare during my high school and college days because I couldn’t understand his literary style, much more his plays. Very British, old English…

Not until I read Gayle Foreman’s novelsJust One Day and Just One Night, where she mentioned Shakespearean plays like The Twelfth Night, and I got intrigued what’s in it. I tried to look for an unabridged copies, and luckily I was able to find one in a local bookstore here.

Yet, again I couldn’t understand an 18th century literature without an aid of some visuals, so I downloaded what I could find. I just hope the available movies would help me understand more about Shakespeare.
