1,000 Steps

 The first physical challenge for 2021 is real! The 1,000 concrete pathway uphill climb and reaching its summit is quite a personal achievement.

Located at Brgy. Santo Domingo, Alfonsolista, Ifugao, the 1,000-steps trek is a big deal for nature lovers because not everyone reaches at the top.

Here at the top view deck, you can see a panoramic view of Magat Dam Reservoir and its watershed areas.

Going back downhill is likewise a struggle. You can still hold on to the iron railings on the first 500 steps, while you are on your own for the other half of the climb.

But through it all, when all is done and finished, and you have endured to the end, the catch is – you might as well overcome (psychologically) all the obstacles, challenges, hardships and problems for the year 2021 and beyond, because you started the year just right!!!
