It’s better to sell than to beg

 This appears in my Facebook Memories.

I posted this during our revisit at the Magellan’s Cross, 9 years ago. I wonder what happens now to this young Cebuana girl who sold miniature guitar keychains in the vicinity of the shrine. She must have been in her senior high or college by now.

She said that she sold keychains during weekends to support her studies. She also said, in Visayan dialect, “It’s better to sell than to beg.
