City of Wonder

One thing I admired most in Vigan is that it maintains and preserves its town center where you can stroll around the town square in just one stop – a blend of a political and religious seat, the plaza, the vintage calles and calezas, a mix of the old and new business establishments plus a house of its historic past or the museum complex adjacent to the capitol. A perfect zoning, so laid-back that I forgot I was still in Northern Luzon.

No wonder, UNESCO declared the city of Vigan as a heritage site, and lately, a city of wonder.
