Pagburnayan

They call this place “pagburnayan” or camarins where earthenwares called “burnay” are fashioned to its desired shape.

One’s tour to Vigan wouldn’t be complete without visiting this place and grab miniature versions of jars as souvenirs here at Ruby Pottery owned by Fidel Go who has been awarded by the National Commission for the Culture and the Arts in 1990 as the National Folk Artist for his exceptional skill and ingenuity in the traditional craft of jar making.

On reflective mode, burnay making is comparable to the Savior, the Master Potter, crafting man according to His perfect plan.
