Old School

This is the Grade 6 school building of Carmelo Elementary School where my childhood memories took form, young friendship developed and discovered bits and pieces of knowledge for a 12-year old school boy.

This building is now dilapidated. It broke my heart to see this building on its near-collapse form. I could still hear echoes of our tiny steps on going up or down on the second storey. Upstairs is where we hold our classes.

I never know if this building could be rehabilitated. All I know is that – I will never forget my first Alma Mater that mould me into a person that I am now.
