Community pantries across the country today was first installed with a bamboo cart anchored with Filipino values of honesty – open for all to those who are in need and to those who are willing to give for its sustainability. Its initiator said this will not solve the root cause of hunger, but it will serve as “pantawid-gutom” which will be a big help in this time of COVID-19 pandemic.
One of the secrets of life is that all that is really worth doing is what we do for others.
A seed… a tiny seed
will it fall by the wayside or thrown before it’s time
will it fall in stony places —- I don’t know
I pray that in some spot of earth it will take root and find new birth and nourished there, and begin to grow and glow.
please let it grow . . .
